Jarraff Industries Opens New Service Center

ST. PETER, Minn. – Jarraff Industries recently announced the opening of a new authorized service center. The new service center, located in Anniston, Alabama, offers experienced mechanics and parts availability for the Jarraff All-Terrain Tree Trimmer, the Geo-Boy Brush Cutter Tractor and the Mini-Jarraff Rear Lot Trimmer.

“This center will help meet the service needs or a wide range of Jarraff Industries customers.  With the ability to service all Jarraff Industries equipment, customers will be able to keep their machines in the field, achieving high levels of productivity,” said Heidi Boyum, President/CEO Jarraff Industries.

Updated Geo-Boy Brush Cutter Tractor Engine Options and Features

ST. PETER, Minn. –Designed for land clearing and vegetation management, the updated Geo-Boy Brush Cutter Tractor from Jarraff Industries is available with two standard tier III engine options, 220 hp and 250 hp. A 260 hp engine option has recently been made available for the wheeled Geo-Boy model at no additional cost.

The updated Geo-Boy also incorporates several new features including a rear back up camera with alarm that provides operators with a clear view and warning of obstacles behind the unit, cab mounted inclinometers for operating the unit on grades or slopes and a door launch sensor prevents the cutter head from engaging if the door is not securely closed and in operating position. In addition, the Geo-Boy has been outfitted with a fire extinguisher compartment that can accommodate two 20-lb. ABC rated fire extinguishers.

The Geo-Boy is available in both wheeled and track configurations and can accommodate the latest cutter head technology from a variety of manufacturers. Both models are ROPS and FOPS certified. The unit’s cutter head can reach 11 feet high and clear brush and trees up to 12 inches in diameter.

Mini-Jarraff Rear Lot Trimmer: New Auto-Trailering Mode Improves Efficiency

The updated Mini-Jarraff Rear Lot Trimmer from Jarraff Industries improves trailering efficiency.  A new auto-trailering mode allows users to quickly adjust both the front and rear wheels to the exact width needed for trailering. After the width specifications of the trailer are input into the control panel, a push button control automatically adjusts the Mini-Jarraff’s wheel width to meet the exact trailer requirements. The Mini-Jarraff can then be loaded onto the trailer quickly and easily, and transported to the next job site.

The remote controlled Mini-Jarraff offers a dynamic range of operation with 55-feet of vertical reach, a 360-degree range of rotation and utilizes a patent pending 180 rotating saw head capable of precise horizontal cutting and tree topping.

Geo-Boy Brush Cutter Earns ROPS and FOPS Certifications

The Geo-Boy Brush Cutter 4×4 model from Jarraff Industries, St. Peter, Minn., recently received ROPS (Roll Over Protective Structures) and FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structures) certification. The certification announcement comes after a lengthy testing and evaluation process. 

Jarraff President/CEO Heidi Boyum explains that the certifications are significant for existing Geo-Boy owners, as well as prospective customers. She said,

“The ROPS and FOPS certifications can be applied retroactively for Geo-Boy Brush Cutters produced since 2004. Our goal is to provide the safest, most effective brush cutter on the market, now owners and operators can be assured that they are utilizing one of the safest self-contained brush cutters available today.”
